In terms of large-scale energy storage projects, Hualu Photoelectric Group plans to invest in the construction of a 2GWh all-vanadium liquid flow battery industrial base in Qitai County, Xinjiang, to create a full industry chain of "ore mining → electrolyte preparation → energy storage system integration", focusing on solving the pain points of grid-connected energy storage for new energy such as wind and photovoltaic. In terms of grid peak regulation, its energy storage system can effectively balance supply and demand and improve the stability of the power grid; in the integration of renewable energy, it solves the intermittency problem between wind and solar power generation.

In April 2025, Hualu Photoelectric and the full-vanadium liquid battery research team of Sichuan University of Light Industry successfully held a research and development cooperation exchange meeting with the theme of "Science and Technology Innovation, Green Future".
