      Recently, Hualu Group and Dali Energy Storage Technology Hubei Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dali Energy Storage") officlly signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Xiangyang, Hubei. Both parties will carry out comprehensive cooperation regarding the R&D, equipment manufacturing, electrolyte supply, and market applicion of all-vanadium redox flow batteries, jointly dedicated to providing safer and longer-lasting energy storage solutions for the new power system.

      This signing is not merely a commercial handshake between the two enterprises, but also a fusion of two profound vanadium battery technology lineages.

      As an active practitioner of China's "dual carbon" strategy, Hualu Group has achieved rapid development despite its relatively short history. Leveraging the techngy system of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Group has secured over a hundred core patents and established a full industrial chain covering photovoltaic-storage EPC, vanadium redox flow battery mnufacturing, and green electricity technology R&D. Just this January, the groundbreaking ceremony for the vanadium redox flow battery verification and testing platform within the Hualu Group campeld, marking a critical step forward in the industrial verification of our technology.

     Our partner, Dali Energy Storage, having been deeply rooted in the vanadium battery industry for eighteen years, has fully mastered the core technologies across the en, including stack, power control, and electrolyte. It is not only one of the few domestic enterprises capable of automated production of hundred-megawatt-level stacks but has also eablished a GWh-level electrolyte production base in Xiangyang. In 2025, Dali Energy Storage successfully overcame the technical challenges of the new geeration 500kW high-power module, demonstrating strong technical breakthrough capabilities.

Collaborative R&D to jointly tackle cost reduction challenges

      Currently, the initial investment cost remains a significant factor constraining the large-scale commercialization of vanadium batteries. Hualu Group possesses advanced verification testing ps and system integration capabilities, while Dali Energy has accumulated deep expertise in stack and electrolyte material science. Both parties will share R&D data and collaborate on joint efforts targeting high-power-dey stacks and low-cost electrolytes, aiming to significantly reduce system costs within the next 2-3 years and enhance the market competitiveness of all-vanadium redox flo

Complementary industrial resources, integrating the supply and demand chain

      Hualu Group possesses a substantial pipeline of user-side energy storage and new energy projects in Sichuan and the Southwest region, while Dali Energy Storage owns advanic automated production lines and a mature supply chain system in Xiangyang, Hubei. Following this signing, both parties will establish a close supply-demand linkage mechanism. Dali EnStorage will serve as a key strategic supplier for Hualu Group, ensuring the supply of core capacities for fuel cell stacks and electrolytes; meanwhile, Hualu Group's verification testing platform rovide pilot-scale validation services for Dali Energy Storage's new products, accelerating the commercialization of its technological achievements.




Anchoring the Future: Building the "Hualu-Dali Solution" for Long-Duration Energy Storage

      It is well known in the industry that with the continuous increase in the penetration rate of renewable energy, the demand for long-duration energy storage exceeding 4 hours is becoming ingly urgent. Vanadium redox flow batteries are entering a strategic opportunity period due to their unique advantages of intrinsic safety, a cycle life exceeding 20,000, and recyclable electrolytes.

      This collaboration with Dali Energy Storage marks another significant move in Hualu Group's industrial chain ecosystem layout, following its industry-academia-research cooperon with Sichuan University of Science and Engineering and Sichuan Chemical Technology College. It not only fills the gap in deep support for our upstream core manufacturing but also endos the "Hualu Series" energy storage solutions with greater resilience and confidence.
