      Since March, geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East have escalated, with war clouds gathering over the Strait of Hormuz. Global energy markets have subsequently fluctuated, withcrude prices breaking through $80 and European natural gas prices surging by over 50%.

      The impact of this shock has brought not only price volatility but also a long-term warning: for energy-importing countries, energy security is not merely about whetre is enough oil, but also about the stability of the power system and the resilience of energy supply against external shocks.

      As external environmental volatility intensifies, the regulation capability and reserve capacity of the internal power system become the true "ballast." This is precisely why new energy storage technologies have been pushed to the forefront.

Why did Hualu choose the all-vanadium redox flow battery?

      Facing this proposition, Hualu Group provided the answer from the very beginning—All-Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries. Why?

Lithium-ion batteries carry the risk of thermal runaway, whereas the energy storage medium of all-vanadium redox flow batteries is liquidelectrolyte, and the charging and discharging processes involve no solid-phase reactions, eliminating the risk of fire or explosion. In a complex environment where risks such as extreme weather and cyberattcks coexist, the value of this "inherent safety" is self-evident.

      Secondly, longevity. A complete vanadium redox flow battery system can operate stably for over 20 years, with a cycle life far exceeding that of lithim batteries. In the long run, the total cost of ownership is lower.

      Third is resource autonomy. China is a producer of vanadium, and its vanadium resources are fully self-sufficient and controllable. The electrolyte can be recycled, and the stack materials are also easy to recover. This is particularly important at a time when the risk of fragmentation in the global supply chain is intensifying.

The strategic logic of Hualu's expansion from Luzhou to Xinjiang

      The value of technology ultimately lies in serving national needs.

      In Qitai, Xinjiang, Hualu's all-vanadium redox flow battery energy storage project has been inaugurated. This project will support the local intgrated wind, solar, hydrogen, and storage project, converting intermittent wind and solar resources from the Gobi Desert into stable and reliable green electricity. In Yongchuan, Cgqing, Hualu is promoting industrial chain cooperation to meet the energy security needs of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. In the Panxi region, relying on abundant vanadium and titaniuesources, Hualu is actively laying out upstream synergies. From the western frontier to the heartland of Chengdu and Chongqing, and from the resource end to the applican end, Hualu is weaving a regional energy storage network.
