The Hualu Group Park Vanadium Flow Energy Storage System Verification and Testing Platform has been completed and put into trial operation.

      Recently, the verification and testing platform for the all-vanadium redox flow energy storage system within the Hualu Group's park has completed all construction work anally entered the trial operation phase. This marks a solid step forward for Hualu Group in promoting the industrialization of all-vanadium redox flow battery technology, laying a founda engineering verification of subsequent technological achievements and the expansion of diversified application scenarios.

      During the construction process, the Hualu Group Park, serving as the core base for the enterprise's R&D and innovation, is gradually building a complete industrial verifiain centered around all-vanadium redox flow batteries, ranging from material testing to system integration. This platform integrates stack testing, electrolyte verification, system integration, and intelligent conl, making it a comprehensive experimental base.

      From groundbreaking to completion, and from excavation to trial operation, every step has been driven by the joint efforts of the project team and our partners. We wilproceed at a steady pace to build the bridge connecting technology R&D to commercial application.



PART 02

Technical Background: Advantages of All-Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries

      All-vanadium redox flow batteries are a type of energy storage technology distinct from traditional lithium-ion batteries, characterized by storing energy in liquid electrolytes containing vaions. During charging and discharging, the electrolyte circulates between storage tanks and the stack, converting electrical energy and chemical energy through redox reactions.

      This working principle endows the all-vanadium redox flow battery with several key advantages: first, high safety, as the aqueous electrolyon-flammable and non-explosive, making it suitable for deployment near industrial parks and densely populated areas; second, long cycle life; and third, recyclable electrolytes with good environmfriendliness. Furthermore, the system's power and capacity can be configured independently, giving it a natural suitability for large-scale energy storage applications.

Verification Test Platform: Functional Positioning in the Trial Operation Phase

      The core function of the verification test platform is to conduct comprehensive performance testing and validation of the all-vanadium redox flow battery system. During the trial opeation phase, the platform will simulate different climate conditions, load characteristics, and operating modes to test the technology's adaptability in various environments.

      Hualu's independently developed all-vanadium redox flow battery products have achieved technical indicators at the laboratory level, including ultra-long duration energy storage exceedng 12 hours, a cycle life of over 20,000 cycles, and a system efficiency of over 80%. The trial operation of the verification test platform will provide practicaalidation of these technological achievements at the industrialization level, accumulating real operational data for technology optimization and product iteration.

      During the trial operation period, all testing equipment and systems are undergoing a process of continuous improvement. We will identify and resolve issues in practice, optimize system perf, and ensure a smooth and orderly official operation. Through systematic testing, this platform will also provide a practical basis for the formulation of industry technical specifications and testing standards for all-vam redox flow batteries.



PART 04

Application Scenario: From the park to a broader scope

      After the verification test platform is put into trial operation, its verification results will be gradually applied to diverse scenarios. Hualu plans to take the lead in cocting a user-side energy storage demonstration project within the park to provide stable and reliable power support for operations.

      The platform will also simulate the application environment for grid-side energy storage to verify the actual performance of all-vanadium redox flow batteries in peak shaving and reneccommodation, accumulating experience for future participation in grid ancillary services. As the technology matures, the verified energy storage solutions will be extended to scenarios such as industrial power consumption, ata centers, and communication base stations, further expanding the market boundaries of the technology.
