As the global pursuit of clean energy and sustainable development intensifies, governments across China have rolled out policies and measures to advance the development and application of green energy. Luzhou City is vigorously promoting green and low-carbon development in its manufacturing sector, achieving deep integration of digitalization and greening. This has led to significantly improved energy and resource utilization efficiency, enhanced green manufacturing standards, and tangible progress in optimizing and upgrading the city's energy structure.
Over the 25-year operational period following completion, this project will annually supply 788,400 kWh of clean electricity to the grid. Based on coal-fired power generation's standard coal consumption rate of 326 grams per kilowatt-hour, the project will save approximately 237.07 metric tons of standard coal annually after commissioning. This translates to annual reductions of approximately 649.64 metric tons of CO2 emissions, 0.07 metric tons of SO2 emissions, and 0.01 metric tons of nitrogen oxides emissions. Additionally, the project will lower temperatures in factory workshops, reduce air conditioning electricity loads, alleviate power consumption within the industrial park grid, and minimize the risk of grid-imposed power restrictions and production curtailments for the facility.
